does it show a blue or red SD card icon?  Can try taking out SD card and put back in.  SD card icon will be yellow while it reads, will turn green once its done reading and its ready to be used.  Can try reformatting the SD card  and load a fresh image on to the card.  Some cards don't like the smarty touch if it doesn't have the original that came with the touch.

Good morning Gentlemen!

Later software versions have increased features and UDC Pro has the RT (Real Time) feature which is miles ahead of the old PoD feature. The PoD is no longer available on newer versions due to the advantages of our Real Time tuning.

Thank you!

Brian

Does it even have an SD card in it?  Maybe the old owner removed it?

One other option is if the owner left you on a custom tune, pod doesn't work with those either.

Yea if reformatting the sd card didn’t help try out a new sd card and load a fresh image of the touch firmware onto it.  Keep in mind what Brian said about newer versions don’t have the PoD available.  I you are wanting the PoD feature and aren’t concerned about the newer custom tuning/on the fly tuning switching maybe someone here has a copy of that firmware of touch but once the touch has a certain version flashed onto it there is no going further back than that certain firmware version
