Recommended Posts

Brian

After setting my smarty touch on 2014 I'm having a issue with CEL and the following DTC codes:

P020A Fuel Inject 1 Performance

P020A Fuel Inject 2 Performance

P020A Fuel Inject 3 Performance

P020A Fuel Inject 4 Performance

P020A Fuel Inject 5 Performance

P020A Fuel Inject 6 Performance

P026B

Any advice?

Good morning Mason!

Would you please let me know your timing/duration/rail values!

Also do you have these codes when set with "default" values?

Thank you!

Hey Brain

Here is the info:

Duration - 150 & 120

Rail - 1900 & 2000

Timing - 35

Throws DTC couldn't duplicate a CEL this time.

Default catcher tune no CEL or DTC

duration - 90

Timing - default thru 35

Rail - default thru 2000

No DTC when using OTF for higher duration settings at this time.

Hope this helps if you need more info let me know.

Good morning Mason!

Are the DTCs still present if you tune the truck with the that Duration and then manually delete them?

Is this a PU or a C&C? Manual or auto?

Thank you!

Hey Brian

PU with auto trans

If you are referring to manual deleting the DTC's yes they return after a few miles.

Now here's something to ponder over:

tuned truck using the following setting

D - 150

Rail- 1900

Timing - 35

Start the truck then use OTF, changing only duration to 90 default and drive 15-20 miles and no DTC codes.

Ill try going back to D=150 and see if any DTC are present. Let you know what happens shortly.

Hey Brain

Wanted to give you an update.

Running default duration with no issues. Using OTF to change to high duration and lower does throw DTC's no mater what.

Notice something that seams odd. Setting engine break to full or auto and turning engine off and restarting the engine break is still activated. Before installing touch engine break would deactivate after engine shut down.
