Help with check engine light

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Today I was driving my 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 home from work and after I began accelerating from a stop the truck lagged like it was out of fuel. Then the check engine light came on. When I got the truck home I checked for the error code on my Smarty Touch. Error code was P0088 Rail pressure had reached its max limit.

Looking for help on what would cause this. I just had all new fuel injectors installed by the dealership and had a Fass fuel pump system installed to protect the new injectors.

Good morning Jason!

One suggestion would be to change the FCA. Fuel Control Actuator. New FASS filters but change the underhood if it hasn't been changed.
