    ME update

Xcc, When you did your delete did you return to stock first or flash over the emmisions program? Going to flash mine to ME this week.

Any update? I get the feeling these are lost and forgotten.

It's been a few months Brian so figured I'd ask if these are still in the pipeline.

    My testing update

Ok so I unplugged the egr again and reprogrammed the ecm with max timing (4) and that woke it up. Now it's snappy and I say that and I never give it more half throttle. I save the workout for towing. Egts are close to the same, if not a little cooler, but the nox cat and dpf seem to be more consistent temps. No timing rattle if anyone was wondering.

    My testing update

Yes I did and when I was stock I did get a mileage boost but I never noticed a difference in driveability. Which makes sense. When I put the tune on with the egr unplugged it sorta drove the same as stock. I could tell when towing hills that I had extra power but just driving around you didn't notice. That was until I did my 67,500MI maintenance and noticed I wasn't very sooty. Grid heater was clean and egr had light soot. So I figured I'd just plug the egr back in and see what it does for power and mileage. Definitely more zippy off the line and through out the power band.

    My testing update

OK so I have been running the emissions tune for a few months with the egr unplugged (SW2, TM3). Mileage was about 18-19 nog, regens were the same interval as stock which is about 200mi. Except it would not do a desulfer cycle. So last week I decided to plug the egr back in and clear the codes. Throttle response it much better.?.?. Go figure, but the truck with the same software tune as before drives like a different truck. Almost like I was derated before. Unknown. So mileage has come down some guessing 1-2 mpg but I haven't measured it yet. Regen's are actually sooner than stock, at about 120-150mi vs 200mi, the truck will regen but finish a little quicker. I figured with more timing regens would be further apart not sooner. But I guess adding power also is more fuel burned.

    2007.5-2009 J67 Settings

Brian, Reading this forum the settings seem to be of great confusion for more than a few members. Some confusion is created by MADS and maybe this forum because there is conflicting information. For example my question regarding the 07.5-09 : Forum: Timing 1. Stock 2. Low 3. Mild 4. Greatest Torque 1. Stock 2. Mild 3. Soft (<2) 4. Light (<3) Owners manual: Timing 1. Stock 2. Standard 3. Mild (<2) 4. Advanced (>2) Torque 1. Stock 2. Mild 3. Soft (<2) 4. Light (<3) Change addendum (came with the Smarty) Timing 1. Stock 2. Low 3. >2 4. >3 0. Default Torque 1. Stock 2. Mild 3. >2 4. >3 0. Default So, I hope this demonstrates that confusion is perpetrated by MADS in publishing three sets of differing guides. Since none of the three fully matches each other it would lead the purchaser to believe that no-one knows what the settings are. My suggestion would be to clean this up and publish the right ones as a sticky here and as a FAQ on MADS website (by model year/engine)

    Lie-O-Meter fix?

It would require flashing the CCN module, which I believe is the cluster. Mine was more accurate when new but one of the emissions recalls flashed the CCN for updated messages and consequently changed the accuracy. To help make it a little closer, you have to reset at every fill up.

    Tranny Tunes

So this new transmission tune, is it only going to be available for the touch?

    SJ67P programmer updates

Ok, so I think I found the answer. I can run either software. Emissions version J67 Ver. 6.06K, Data: D:RS01M Or version L of the ME software.

    SJ67P programmer updates

So my new in the box smartly showed up today and it is a SJ67P. What is the difference between the"P" model and the "US" model? Can I run either emissions software or "ME" software?

    Tranny Tunes

Will there be a tranny tune for the 07.5-09?

    2007.5-2009 J67 Settings

Thank you Brian. So timing is in order least to greatest and torque would be 1,4,3,2 to go least to greatest, right?

    Tranny Tunes

Any word if this might happen?

    2007.5-2009 J67 Settings

The manual online appears to be for 2010-12 models as they conflict with what I see here. So what are the torque and timing values and there order of least to most. Just bought a J67 for my 2009 and when it gets here I just want to be informed. Mads needs to include the difference between the model years in the user guide. An update perhaps?
